At Bayside OCC, we are more than just a canoe club. We are a community built on values that guide us in everything we do. Our club values reflect who we are and what we stand for. They are:

Rangatahi (Youth) - We believe in empowering our youth by creating an environment that supports and nurtures the growth and development of our young paddlers. We aim to inspire them to reach their full potential, both on and off the water.

Whanaungatanga (Extended Family) - We are a close-knit whānau (family). We value the bonds we create within our club and strive to create a sense of belonging and camaraderie among our members. We support and uplift one another, celebrating successes and offering a helping hand during challenging times.

Manaakitanga (Hospitality) - We believe in fostering lasting relationships and strengthening connections. We pride ourselves on showing hospitality and generosity and welcoming newcomers and visitors into the fold.
